After several years in which we launched our first choir festival with the Argentinian composer Martín Palmeri under the name “Misatango Germany” in Siegburg and Cologne – where we brought together more than 180 participants from different choirs around the world – we are very happy to announce that another edition of our International Choir Festival LiberArte will take place in 2025.
This time the festival has a special motto:
80 Years of the Liberation of Europe from National Socialism
It will take place in two cities that are very important to us: We will begin in the impressive auditorium of the University of Bonn and conclude in the renowned Teatro Avenida in the lively metropolis of Buenos Aires.
This double event will further strengthen the ties between the two continents that we began to forge in 2019.
For this special commemoration we have selected three exceptional choral works: the “Song of Destiny” by Johannes Brahms, “The Aeneid” by the Argentine composer José Luis Larzabal and, as a festive finale in Buenos Aires, the “Misa a Buenos Aires” (Misatango) by Martín Palmeri.
We cordially invite you to participate in this new edition of the festival and very much hope that you will be there.
We would be delighted to welcome you to the 3rd edition of the International Choir Festival LiberArte.
